Benedict Cumberbatch holds hands with wife Sophie Hunter as the two put on a stylish display at Burberry catwalk show

Benedict Cumberbatch made a stylish appearance with his wife Sophie Hunter at the Burberry Prorsum catwalk show on Monday.

The married couple impressed by putting on a chic display at the event, holding hands as they made their way into the designer brand's Spring/Summer 2016 collection showing.

Impeccably dressed in a midnight blue trench coat, Benedict channeled his inner Sherlock Holmes by carrying a leather brief case.

New parents Benedict and Sophie, who welcomed their first son reported to be named Christopher in June, made for a stylish pair as they looked in good spirits at the fashion show.

Wearing a blue jumper with smart trousers and a pair of laced up shoes, Benedict displayed his handsome looks while his wife Sophie looked elegant in a white coat and double monk strap leather brogues.

Sophie looked glamorous in her subtle choice of attire, linking hands with her A-List husband as they made a modest entrance into the star-studded event.

Keep it chic in Sophie's Burberry brogues

With stars out in force at the Burberry Spring Summer 2016 show, we've been style spotting all over. Our latest crush is Mrs Benedict Cumberbatch, Sophie Hunter, who turned up to the show in a very chic ensemble of black trousers, pristine white coat and stylish buckle brogues.

While the Burberry coat isn't yet available to buy you can get your hands on those double buckle flat shoes from the brand by clicking the link to the right and shopping on their website. The leather and calfskin shoes are part brogue, part platform creeper, and wholly stylish. We reckon their pretty comfy too! This style is the perfect shoe to take you into the new season, easily being teamed with jeans or smart trousers as Sophie shoes, or with cute dresses in an Alexa Chung fashion.

If the Burberry pair are a little out of budget, try one of the more affordable styles in our edit below. Swear have a great look-a-like version, while the bargain buy goes to Missguided with a style for only $40!

Sophie styled her hair in a sophisticated bob while Benedict kept his auburn locks looking wavy for their joint appearance.

The theater director made a statement with her wispy fringe, while adding a slightly luminous colour to beneath her eyes.

Together the loved-up pair looked like the perfect match as they complemented each other's looks in their classic ensembles.

Meanwhile, Cara Delevingne, 23, banished any reports that her and Kate Moss had fallen out, with the two Burberry models posing side by side on the front row of the fashion display.

Earlier this year it was alleged that the supermodel had 'black listed' her younger counterpart due to a bust-up Cara had with Kate's long-term friend and model pal Naomi Campbell.

But the pair appeared to put their differences aside for the designer show, having stripped down to just the classic trench coat for Burberry's fragrance campaign in 2014.

Kate, 41, displayed her famous style in a pair of black trousers that she wore with a smart dotty coat.

The mother-of-one accentuated her facial features with a rose-tinted lip, a few swipes of black mascara and highlighted cheekbones, while wearing her glossy mane loose.

Cara showed off her model physique in a patchwork macramé lace skirt that she teamed with a fitted low neck top.

The model turned actress posed with her hand on the slender waist of girlfriend St. Vincent as the two put on a united front at the designer event.

St. Vincent, real name Anne Erin Clark, showcased her slim figure in a matching cut out dress to Cara, adding height to her sultry look in a pair of thigh high patent boots with a chunky heel.

She wore her auburn locks in perfect curls while sculpting her pretty face with a generous application of blusher, finishing off her beauty look with a polish of coral lipstick.

Cara styled her hair in loose waves for the show as she lined her green eyes with dark makeup.

The star elevated her style choices with a pair of peep toe heels, displaying her freshly painted dark nails for the fashionable event.
