ABSTRACT Досліджено теоретичні питання формування механізму державно-приватного партнерства в системі
вищої освіти України. Визначено роль закладів вищої освіти в процесі перебудови економіки України,
перспективи їх співпраці з приватним сектором економіки в рамках механізму державно-приватного
партнерства. Наведені переваги механізму державно-приватного партнерства для закладів вищої освіти і приватного сектору, надано авторське визначення державно-приватного партнерства в системі вищої освіти. Обґрунтовано необхідність активного запровадження механізму державно-приватного партнер-ства в системі вищої освіти в реаліях розвитку України.

Theoretical issues of the formation of the mechanism of public-private partnership (PPP) in the system
of higher education of Ukraine are studied. The role of higher educational institutions in the process of
Ukraine’s economy transformations, the prospects of their cooperation with the private sector of economy
within the framework of the mechanism of PPP are specified. The advantages of the mechanism of PPP in the system of higher education and private business are presented, the author’s definition of PPP in the system of higher education is formulated. The necessity of active introduction of the mechanism of public-private partnership in the system of higher education in the realities of development of Ukraine is substantiated.

    ABSTRACT: Scientific research is devoted to conceptual analysis of the basic principles of social responsibility and social activities of higher educational institutions in view of the necessity to strengthen their competitiveness in the market. Corporate Social Responsibility is reminiscent of considerations of externalities associated to private actions in public economics. It is reviewed the theoretical aspects of corporate social responsibility in this work, including these for the subjects of the educational process – universities from the position of combining the interests of stakeholders of the educational process. It is provided the grouping of key stakeholders which influence on the functioning and development of universities. It is investigated the role of social responsibility in the acting of higher educational institution; it is defined priorities of social responsibility of higher educational institutions in conditions of globalization and highly competitive environment; it is analyzed the recommendations of international initiatives for the formation of social responsibility in terms of sustainable development of society (Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME); United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)). It is proposed the author's definition of "social responsibility of higher education institution". In our opinion, it is recognized by all, conscious and purposeful activity institution of higher education in shaping the social and environmental awareness in participants of the educational process in the interests of the environment and stakeholder groups, in order to build a competitive economy based on sustainable development. It is given the recommendations for the formation of system of corporate social responsibility of high educational institutions of Ukraine. Стаття присвячена питанням соціальної відповідальності та соціальної діяльності вищих навчальних закладів (університетів). Проаналізовано теоретичні концепції соціальної відповідальності вищих навчальних закладів. Окреслено роль стейкхолдерів в діяльності університетів. Дано авторське визначення поняття «соціальна відповідальність вищого навчального закладу». Визначено пріоритетні напрямки розвитку соціальної відповідальності вищих навчальних закладів в умовах глобалізації і висококонкурентного середовища. Ключові слова: університет, соціальна відповідальність, вища освіта, вищий навчальний заклад, державно-приватне партнерство, глобалізація, конкурентоспроможність, сталий розвиток.
