'It's been a long struggle and it took a lot of courage and strength for him to be able to do what he's done,' she said.

'He's put his hand up and said "I'm struggling, I'm struggling and I need help and I'm getting help." I think that is a really important thing for not only men to do but also women.'

Jesinta's life has been put under the microscope since Franklin announced he was stepping away from the Swans amid his health problems, which was followed by subsequent rumours of an affair with a teammate's girlfriend.

The brunette beauty, who is also a host on travel show Getaway, said the last couple of weeks have taken a toll on her but she couldn't be more in love with her partner.

'I have fallen even more in love with him,' she said commenting on Franklin's brave decision to open up about his issues.

When asked how she has been coping with the fallout since Buddy's shock revelation a few weeks prior, resilient Jesinta admitted the past few weeks have been a 'struggle'.

She also hammered home the importance of nurturing young men, pointing to her own partner's recent admission as an example.

'I mean look what my fiance is going through at the moment, he's going to be a better partner for me for being vulnerable and standing up and saying that he's struggling with something.

'He's going to be a better father to my children,' she continued championing the importance of a male-focused charity called Top Blokes.

The halterneck jumpsuit featured a keyhole cut out which revealed a glimpse of her decolletage, as well as slits in the three quarter trousers.

However, Jesinta made sure not to bare too much skin, as she draped the matching blazer which featured a sheer black panel on the back, over her shoulders.

Strutting her stuff on the red carpet, the David Jones Ambassador glowed as she happily posed for the obligatory media photographs, and was even seen laughing as she courted the crowds.

After suffering a seizure at a Bondi café earlier this month, reports revealed Buddy had been quietly suffering mental illness and mild epilepsy.

'He is great thank you,' she said about her partner. 'He's got the best support around him and we are so grateful to everyone that has reached out to us.

'He's getting the best help possible and he'll be back before we know it.'

Last week, the the former Miss Universe addressed the issue during a press conference, stating that, 'Rumours are called rumours for a reason'.
