'Taking care of myself': Avril Lavigne visits doctor's office and gets 12 vials of blood drawn as she continues Lyme Disease fight
Avril Lavigne isn't giving up her fight against Lyme disease.
The singer, 30, shared two photos of herself at the doctor's office on Tuesday as she continues to battle the condition.
The Fly singer posted an image of herself sitting on the doctor's examining table as she appeared to undergo blood tests and a check-up.

'This journey continues...' she captioned the photo.
And she added a lyric from her Special Olympics single Fly, writing: 'Just reach up, don't give up unto you touch the sky...We were all meant to fly.'
And she added the hashtag '#DrOfficePhotoshoot.'
Blood tests: 'On my way to good health,' Lavigne wrote
Lavigne wore a Hurley trucker cap, sunglasses a grey Amuse Society top, and rolled-up blue jeans for her visit to the doctor's office.
She added cute flip flops that spelled 'love' and smiled as she tried to make the best of her ongoing health issues.
The Canadian pop star also shared an image of her arm beside twelve vials of blood.
Her skull-and-cupcake tattoo, with the name of her clothing line Abbey Dawn, is clearly visible beside a small round band-aid.
The Sk8er Boi singer captioned the photo 'On my way to good health', and added the hashtags '#TakingCareOfMyself' and a defiant '#F***LymeDisease.'

Lavigne contracted Lyme Disease in 2014, and was bed-ridden for five months with the debilitating illness, which is often spread by ticks.
In addition to health woes, the singer split from her husband, Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger, just two weeks ago.
The couple wed in July 2013, and announced their separation on Instagram on September 2.
Lavigne was previously married to Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley from 2006-2010.
