Anything you can do, Chloe! England World Cup star James Haskell follows in his model girlfriend's footsteps by posing naked for the cameras

He is willing to lay his body on the line for his country during the next six weeks and James Haskell isn't shy when it comes to showing off his impressive physique.

The England forward has bared almost everything in a photoshoot for Sport Magazine

The 30-year-old's nudity matches the feats his of girlfriend Chloe Madeley - who posed naked for Women's Health magazine earlier this year.

And while he may be a hulking figure for England, Haskell says he owes his imposing frame to Wales head coach Warren Gatland - after the New Zealander 'locked' him in the gym for half a year.

The pair worked together during their time at Wasps as the back rower began to make a name for himself in the sport.

But despite his obvious forward abilities, Gatland felt the Windsor-born star needed to bulk up in order to stand up to the physicality of professional rugby.

And reflecting on his time under Gatland's tutelage, Haskell has revealed the lengths to which the 52-year-old went.

'I had to battle to put on size early in my career. When I started at Wasps, Warren Gatland - who was the coach at the time - was a huge advocate of wanting his young players to be big, so he locked me and [retired flanker] Tom Rees in the gym for about six months,' he told Sport Magazine.

'We operated under the motto: 'Get big or die trying.' But I'm never satisfied. I always want to be in better shape.

'The most important thing for me right now, though, is performance. I'm obviously proud of my body and work very hard for it, but I don't eat or train to have a good body - I eat to perform.

'That was a mistake I made early on in my career: eating to try and and become a cover model as opposed to eating perform. I've massively changed that now.'

The weight of expectation could serve as a hindrance to Stuart Lancaster's side as the tournament hosts kick-off against Fiji but forward's coach Graham Rowntree insists that they're fully prepared.

'We've been ready for a couple of weeks,' he said. 'We've trained exceptionally well. It's been a long three months and it's been a tough camp.

'We've had a good work-out against some great nations in our warm-up games. The lads are fitter than they've ever been. It's the time of their lives for lads. I'm excited for them.

'We are peaking now for opening night. The data doesn't lie. There's a lot of data available now around the sport and the guys are in the shape of their lives.'
