Can’t be good at everything! TV presenter Jessica Rowe calls herself a ‘c**p housewife'... after cooking low-budget dinners for her family-of-four

She kicked things off on Sunday by sharing a photo of the humble baked beans dinner she was making for her family-of-four. 

Adding the hashtag '#c**phousewife' to the accompanying Instagram caption, Jessica Rowe touched a nerve with other mothers as the snap generated a slew of empathetic comments. 

Since then, the 45-year-old TV presenter has been hilariously sharing the low-budget meals she's been making for her clan with her 10,000 followers.

'Today is Thursday... Thursday is ummmmm takeaway!' she captioned a photo of a takeaway cheese pizza.

Previously she wrote: 'Today is Monday... It's burnt chicken schnitzel day...' alongside a photo of three pieces of browned chicken pieces frying in a pan.

'We're having the same' and 'Yum! Nothing c**p about that!', commented two supportive fans. 

The Studio 10 presenter is married to news presenter Peter Overton, and has two children, eight-year-old Allegra and six-year-old Giselle.

This month the blonde broadcaster is releasing her memoir titled Is This My Beautiful Life?.

In the frank publication, Jessica recounts the difficult period of her life when she was dropped from Channel Nine and dubbed 'the most annoying person on television', all the the while struggling with post-natal depression.

'The fairytale I had dreamt up saw me still blazing ahead with my career,' Jessica writes in a promotional blurb for the book.

'Sharing the cooking and cleaning duties with my husband and having neat, tidy and well-behaved children who had beautifully brushed hair. But that was not my life,' she finished.

With proper medical help and the support of her family, Jessica was able to recover.
