She may have lost out on an award at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, but Robin Wright was certainly dressed for success on Sunday evening.
The 49-year-old - who was nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series award for House Of Cards - looked absolutely sensational as she hit the red carpet in a plunging white gown.
The striking number, complete with a scooped neckline and cut-out detail, highlighted her lean and slender frame perfectly.

With her short blonde tresses swept to the side, the Forest Gump star looked nothing short of glamorous in her style choice, which was styled further with black heels and an encrusted clutch.
She injected a subtle pop of colour to the proceedings with red talons, while accentuating her striking complexion with well-defined eyes and tinted cheeks.
Robin was up against the likes of Empire’s Taraji P. Henson, Homeland favourite Claire Danes, Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany and Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss - while the award went to How to Get Away With Murder’s Viola Davis.

Meanwhile, it’s been a huge year for Robin after she made the Forbes Highest Earning Actresses list thanks to her role as ruthless wife of the President, Claire Underwood in House Of Cards.
Joining the likes of Sofia Vergara, Kayley Cuoco- Sweeting, Mindy Kaling and Amy Poehler, the Hollywood actress made it into the top 15 due to her $5.5 million earnings.
In addition to the new season of the popular Netflix series with Kevin Spacey, Wright will soon be seen on the big screen in the dramatic adventure film Everest alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Kiera Knightley.
