No wonder they signed up! The Jofre brothers gorge on sickly concoction of sweets and potato chips mixed together in ONE bowl on The Biggest Loser: Families

Their sickly diet of junk food reduced Michelle Bridges to tears at the beginning of the series.

And as the Jofre family continues to collectively shed the pounds on The Biggest Loser, their old eating habits are very much a thing of the past.

But viewers were reminded of their nauseating diet in a video montage on Monday which revealed a bizarre snack of Tim Tams, M&M's and potato chips mixed in to one bowl.

Sitting in leather armchairs as they watch TV, the brothers are seen mindlessly shoveling the sugary concoction into their mouths.

With large steel bowls of the mixture on on their laps, they appear entirely ignorant of their monumental calorie intake as they share jokes.

One of the brothers meanwhile is seen spooning chocolate ice cream straight out of the tub.

The shocking image was in stark contrast to their efforts at The Biggest Loser camp, with trainer Michelle praising them for 'giving 100 per cent'.

Speaking to the camera, 44-year-old Michelle said: 'Great week, great weigh in. These guys have done everything I've asked, I couldn't be prouder.

Reflecting on their former lifestyle, she continued: 'During the Jofres' time here, there have been so many changes.

'(They've gone from) living at home with mum, eating like children with no responsibility or accountability.

'Now they're on to it, they're hungry for it. They want to make a change, they want to give me 100 per cent every time they come to training.'

Last week Tony Jofre revealed his heartbreaking spiral from fitness to flab, confessing that he was once a personal trainer who 'lived life to the fullest'.

'Six years ago I was a personal trainer,' he said, adding that his descent into ill health came when he lost his job and packed on 13kg.

The Biggest Loser: Families continues on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Ten.
