Hollywood's leading stars were in the mood to celebrate at the 67th Annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

And the special VIPs wasted no time in taking to their social media sites to give fans a sneak-peak of all the backstage action.

Taking to her Instagram page, Sofia Vergara happily shared a series of snaps from the night, including one of herself cosying up to her handsome fiance Joe Manganiello.

The Modern Family actress was also spotted enjoying a snack of popcorn just two rows behind Jon Hamm, the winner of the Outstanding Drama Actor prize.

‘Contraband at the Emmys,’ the 43-year-old wrote.

Meanwhile, Matt LeBlanc showed his middle finger to Jimmy Kimmel during a commercial break at the star-studded award show.

Earlier on, the American chat show host presented the gong for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, which the former Friends star was nominated for thanks to his role in Episodes.

Instead of reading out the winner, Jimmy cut out the name and jokingly ate it, saying no one would know if he announced the wrong winner.

‘I can give the Emmy to whoever I want. If the card says Louis C.K. and I say the Emmy goes to Matt LeBlanc, what are they going to do, stop the show? Are Ernst & Young going to hop on stage and wrestle the Emmy away from Joey Tribbiani? I don’t think so,’ he said said.

Lady Gaga opted for not one, but two show stopping gowns for the Emmy Awards this year. Keeping to a monochrome color palette, she donned a simple asymmetric black gown for the ceremony before changing into a white bandeau maxi with puff-ball sleeves for the after party.

Both Gaga’s look are from her stylist Brandon Maxwell’s debut collection, which he showcased at last week’s New York Fashion Week.

Whilst the black one-shoulder maxi was spotted on the runway, this white creation is a custom version of the black one seen at NYFW.
