And on Monday Cara Santana appeared to be taking the axiom to heart as she adopted another London style trend while taking a break from Fashion Week.

The 31-year-old stunner wore a big floppy hat as she stepped out with her boyfriend in the iconic city.

The Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva la Fiesta! actress wore skintight leather trousers and booties for casual outing.

Completing her attire was an oversize jumper as she appeared to keep warm by tucking her hands under her arms.

At one point she displayed some affection to her partner as they strolled arm-in-arm.

Meanwhile, Jesse wore a plaid shirt and distressed denim trousers, appearing to keep in touch with his California sartorial instincts.

Keeping with the SoCal trend, he wore a grey T-shirt teamed with dark sunglasses and some three day old facial scruff.

Last week, she held the London launch of her hit beauty app. 

The Glam App is described as 'beauty on demand' as it brings beauty treatments to your door by locating mobile make-up artists, hairstylists and manicurists in your area and arranging your appointment. 

The app already operates in various US locations however Wednesday's launch marked the first UK launch.
