Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson admits he struggles to stay in shape while worrying about his 'gut' on holiday
He rose to international fame as brooding vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga.
But despite his swoon-worthy status Robert Pattinson admitted he doesn't find obtaining his hunky physique easy and even holidayed in a remote location to avoid someone photographing his 'gut.'
The actor, 29, said: 'I'm so glad about the vanity required in this job because if I didn't have to stay in shape, I'd be such a fat a**.'

Looking good! Robert Pattinson, 29, admitted he doesn't find obtaining his hunky physique easy and even holidayed in a remote location to avoid someone photographing his 'gut'
His confession comes after he decided to save himself the shame of going topless with his fuller body on show by holidaying in a place where no one would notice him.
Speaking to The Times in a new interview, he said: 'It used to be that I could start working out four weeks before a job and it would be totally fine. Now? Nothing happens. You just beat your body into submission.
'What the f*** is going on? I had to go on holiday to an extravagant secret location this year because I was afraid of someone photographing my gut,' he added.

Heartthrob: Robert rose to international fame as brooding vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga and flaunted his muscly torso in many of the scenes recorded for New Moon
Despite flaunting his muscly torso in Twilight's New Moon, Robert revealed his six pack is harder to maintain, with him finding it increasingly difficult to lose weight for film roles.
But Robert avoided having to bulk up for new film Life, in which he plays photographer Dennis Stock.
While Robert cut a dapper figure at the Met Gala this year, where he allegedly confirmed his engagement to FKA Twigs, the star seems as though he isn't completely happy with his appearance.

It has been alleged in recent weeks that the happy pair have 'barely spoken' in recent weeks.
According to People the long-distance factor now appears to be putting a strain on the two.
A source told the publication that their 'wedding is off the agenda,' although 'they haven't called off the engagement.'
'They've definitely drifted and have barely spoken while he's in Belfast and she's been in the States,' the source added.
