A casual Nicole Kidman leaves theatre following Photograph 51 performance... as long-term pal Hugh Jackman comes to watch her

Nicole Kidman appeared to be in high spirits as she left the Noel Coward theatre on Monday night.

Leaving the venue in a casual jumper and jeans, she waved to fans as she left the iconic West End building.

And it's no wonder she was feeling so bright, as her long-term pal Hugh Jackman had been to support her in the audience.

The Aussie actress, 48, teamed her laid-back attire with a pair of black Converse plimsolls and a purple leather handbag. 

She's close friends with the fellow Australian actor after the pair co-starred in Baz Luhrmann's outback drama, aptly called Australia.

In the 2008 film, Nicole played an English aristocrat who falls for a cowboy, played by father-of-two Hugh.

But Nicole wasn't the only woman that he made made time for on Monday night, as she brought his mother along to the theatre with him. 

The dashing actor and his mum, Grace McNeil, were pictured making their way back to Claridge's hotel in London after watching Nicole in the play. 

Hugh looked handsome as ever in a classic ensemble as he teamed a white shirt with navy trousers and black shoes.

He shielded himself from the Autumn chill with a black leather jacket and was sure to walk arm-in-arm with his mother as they made their way to their London residence.

Grace was dressed in an all-black ensemble, though her jacket featured a floral design. 

Also seen making her way to Claridge's was Hugh's co-star Rooney Mara, who made her way from her taxi to the hotel with a distinctive yellow Selfridges shopping bag in hand.

The 30-year-old actress opted to sport a casual look as she donned a navy jumper and bootcut jeans.

Directed by Joe Wright (Hanna, Pride & Prejudice), Pan is a modern-day reimagining of J. M. Barrie's 1911 fairytale.

Peter, a WWII orphan, IS abducted by Blackbeard (Jackman)'s clownish henchman from his bed at the Lambeth Home for Boys.

He's then spirited away to Neverland in a magical flying ship where he's set to work in the mines. 

But it doesn't take long for Peter to be rescued by his future nemesis.

The young James Hook is a modest miner played by Garrett Hedlund, who helps Peter escape slave labour.

Pan will hit US theatres October 6 and arrives in the UK on October 16.
