Daddy's girl! Zoe Kravitz goes hell for leather as she supports her rock star father Lenny at NYC concert

She has quite the pedigree - a rock star dad and a TV star mom.

And on Monday Zoe Kravitz proved that she not only has taken after her famous parents musically and theatrically, but she is also the most supportive of daughters.

The 26-year-old attended an event held by embattled car company Volkswagen in New York, where her father Lenny Kravitz put on a show.

The X-Men: First Class star rocked a leather jacket and matching booties as she sported a skimpy summer dress.

Tying her long tresses into a high knot, she sported a daring ponytail.

The Mad Max star appeared rocker chic as she wore minimal make-up to the event, which was rocked by her dad.

Lenny, 51, was even more daring in his rocker style as he wore double denim for his performance.

The show was held at an unveiling for the 2016 Volkswagen Passat.

The gig comes after the International Council for Clean Transportation (ICCT) tested a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta and a 2013 VW Passat, only to find that the two VW models displayed much higher levels of nitrogen oxide emissions than permitted by law.

'Our hypothesis was these cars would all come out clean,' said Drew Kodjak, executive director of the ICCT, a non-profit independent research group with offices in Washington, San Francisco and Berlin.

In May 2014, ICCT alerted the Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board about their findings.

On Friday, EPA said VW could be liable for up to $18 billion in penalties for using software on almost 500,000 VW and Audi diesel cars that circumvented emissions regulations , unleashing a controversy that threatens long-term damage to VW's finances, leadership and reputation.

VW shares in Europe fell almost 20 percent on Monday, and the company suspended U.S. sales of its diesel cars until it can come up with a fix to satisfy regulators. The disclosure comes as VW's U.S. sales have lagged the company's performance in other global markets, and could hamper its efforts to boost demand in the American market.
