Funny couple Amy Poehler and Nick Kroll have ended their relationship, reportedly due to their hectic work commitments.

The 44-year-old Parks and Recreation actress had been dating the Kroll Show star, 37, for two years.

'Unfortunately, they just couldn’t make the relationship work with their schedules' a source told Us Weekly.

'They really tried, but it just wasn’t realistic anymore,' the insider added, and said 'They were spending more time apart than together.'

Poehler started dating the comedian in May 2013 after her divorce from Will Arnett, 45.

She opened up about her relationship with The League star in her 2014 memoir Yes Please, saying 'I have a boyfriend who knows how to settle me. He puts his hand on my chest and tells me boring stories,'

Kroll made several appearances on Parks and Rec between 2011 and 2015 playing an extremely douchey radio DJ, making for amusing watching as he made Poehler's Leslie Knope squirm.

Meanwhile, the former SNL star attended the Emmys on Sunday night wearing a stylish cut-out Michael Kors dress and showing off beachy waves in her brunette locks.

Poehler missed out on the Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy which ended up going to Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep.

The bubbly star will next be seen in Sisters - released December 18 - alongside her witty partner-in-crime Tina Fey.

Poehler was married to Arrested Development star Arnett from 2003 to 2014 and share two young sons together; Archie, six, and Abel, five.
