Britney Spears is the ultimate pop princess prankster as she fools bodyguards in hilarious gag on Neil Patrick Harris' show
Britney Spears participated in a hysterical sketch during Neil Patrick Harris' new late-night variety show Best Time Ever on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old performer had to do and say everything Harris, who was joined by Joe Jonas, told her to in a concealed earpiece in a segment called Voices in Your Head.
Harris, 42, and Jonas, 26, sat in a studio and directed Spears as she interviewed several potential bodyguards.

Royal greeting: Britney instructed would-be bodyguard Andrew Opal to kiss her hand upon greeting her
As the first would-be bodyguard arrived Spears was instructed to hold her hand out so he could kiss it as she greeted him.
Instead Andrew Opal shook her hand to which Spears replied, 'You're not going to kiss my hand?'
When asked how strong he was Opal replied he was the strongest in the whole military.

Say what: Spears tried to take the prank seriously but at times it seemed hard to contain her laughter

Jonas jumped in and instructed Spears to respond, 'Stronger than tanks?'
As the next bodyguard entered, Keith Manning, Spears got up and introduced herself to the would-be bodyguard with a, 'Hi, it's Britney bitch.'
The husky prankee responded with a nervous chuckle as Spears changed her mind several times as to where she wanted him to sit.

As the third man entered, Wesley Patterson, Spears was directed to show him her talent for juggling water bottles.
She asked Patterson why she should hire him and he replied that he had worked in some of the worst security situations.
'So you're like a superhero, like Batman,' Spears playfully asked. 'Or Scooby-Doo.'

The high jinks didn't end there as one-by-one the Toxic singer escorted each bodyguard to her “Piece of Me” stage in Las Vegas where she recently announced her residency has been extended two more years.
First Britney escorted Opal to the seats in the audience and instructed him saying, 'I hid something, it's kind of dangerous.'
'I want you to find it...GO,' the pop queen demanded as she was seen giggling behind his back.
While Britney was not told what was hidden in the seats, Andrew discovered a cactus plant.

The final piece of the prank included Britney's backup dancers where she instructed the bodyguards to protect her at all costs.
'Can you be close to me at all times,' she asked. 'Without anyone noticing?'
'Even when I'm doing this,' she challenged the men as she broke into a performance on stage while her dancers came out from backstage and surrounded her for the routine.

Patterson had no problem protecting the Baby One More Time singer as he jumped right in the middle of the group and tried to follow the dancers in their routine.
However it seemed Wesley was more concerned with keeping up with the moves than protecting the star.
'Be inconspicuous,' she reminded him as he was gyrating across the stage.

'I'm very inconspicuous,' he exclaimed as he busted a move and got down with the dancers, even crawling on the floor at one point.
Keith took a different approach and seemed apprehensive at first but reluctantly entered the circle of performers and hovered over Britney with his arms out, ensuring nobody could touch her.
'You're full of surprises, you know that?' Manning replied as he stood guard throughout the dance number.

Lastly it was Andrew's turn to watch over Spears throughout her performance.
While still holding the cactus, Opal sets it to the side of the stage and watches from the sidelines.
Eventually he attended to the star and awkwardly stood still right next to her throughout the routine.
