The strip-club owner and 32-year-old Bella were inundated with messages of congratulations from well-wishing users, including Piers Morgan who wrote: 'Many congratulations to you all Pete!'

'It is a beautiful day to welcome our beautiful boy into the world,' he added.

Despite being conscious about being an older father, Peter and Bella - who married in Barbados in 2009 - are not ruling out having another child.

'Yes, possibly, but we’re in no rush after this one,' he said.

Peter took to the social-networking site on Tuesday evening to reveal Bella was due to go into labour the following day.

He shared a professionally-taken shot of the businessman cradling the raven-haired beauty's burgeoning and naked baby bump.

'To my followers, personal friends, BC friends and Karen and Scott ..tomorrow our new baby son is born we are full of love,' he captioned the loving snap.

The British businessman and Bella looked surprisingly calm and collected moments before stepping into the maternity ward at Portland Hospital in the West End of London.

He shared a picture of him placing a protective hand on the expectant mother-of-two's blossoming bump which was highlighted in a clingy red maxi dress.

Retweeting the image taken by a friend, he captioned it: 'Just taken the wonderful Mr Stringfellow and his good lady to the hospital to have their baby son http...'

Baby Angelo's arrival comes just over two years after the birth of the couple's daughter Rosabella.

When the pair announced they were expanding their brood he said candidly: ‘I’m quite aware that I’m not going to be around later in Rosabella’s life so the idea of a sibling is very important. I give myself another ten years.’
