But effortless beauty Cameron Diaz looked noticeably different when she stepped out for lunch with sister-in-law Nicole Richie in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The 43-year-old star looked a little puffy-faced as she left a nearby eatery, where she offered a what looked like a reluctant smile for photographers before attempting to hide her face with her hand.

The Other Woman actress kept her style simple yet feminine for the lunch date in a white T-shirt and coordinating denim jacket.

Proving denim on denim is no match for her, Cameron paired the look with a billowing jean skirt that conceded at the knee.

The statuesque beauty gave herself some added height with a pair of heeled beige ankle boots, which were a similar shade to the small side-bag she wore draped across her shoulder.

Looking gym ready, the mother-of two - who is married to Joel Madden, the twin brother of Cameron's husband Benji - showcased her slender physique in cropped leggings and comfortable trainers.
