Amy Schumer 'inks lucrative $8-$10m deal to publish her memoir The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo' after Emmy win

Her publisher's advance is said to top what Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Lena Dunham and Mindy Kaling each got for their tomes.

Fresh from her big win at the Emmys, the 34-year-old comedienne has reportedly scored an advance in the $8 to $10 million range.

Her book is described as a collection of funny essays full of observations from family and childhood, and she doesn't shy away from her feminist view point either, The Hollywood Reporter revealed.

Schumer's memoir was apparently considered such a hot property that editors had to read the proposal in the secrecy of her agent's office.

In all, eight publishers reportedly made a bid on the project and the winner is Simon & Schuster imprint Gallery Books.

Just show off your arms in a jade strapless gown by Zac Posen

Amy Schumer may be one powerhouse funny gal but she doesn't look funny when it comes to hitting the red carpet. She stuns in a perfectly tailored custom made Zac Posen dress for the Emmy red carpet.

Zac Posen is no stranger to the red carpet and also dressed another celeb tonight at the Emmys. He counts A-list actresses like Christina Hendricks to super model Naomi Campbell as fans of his creations that always enhance a woman's curves and flatters their figures.

Sadly this exact dress is not available online but head over to Neiman Marcus to the right to pick up something by Zac Posen. If you're hankering for something that have that sleek siren vibe that Amy is doing tonight, check out our edit below. The one from ML Monique Lhuiller is a steal at over 50% off!

Pair yours with upswept hair like Amy and we would even throw on a dazzling necklace to draw even more attention to that sexy neckline.

The star of Inside Amy Schumer will probably laugh all the way to the bank as her advance is a sign of the book's expected sales.

Tina Fey's book Bossypants has sold more than two million copies so far, and books in the same vein by Amy Poehler, Lena Dunham and Mindy Kaling were all bestsellers.

Amy, however, didn't take too kindly to a fellow comedian who texted her after news leaked out on Wednesday.

'Heard about the book deal. Trust me. Put that money in a bank!!!' wrote Colin Quinn.

Amy retorted: 'You have no information and I want far out of your phone.'

The New York native scored a massive win when her show Inside Amy Schumer garnered the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series on Sunday.

Amy was jubilant on stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles as she clutched her golden trophy and thanked everyone who helped her along the way.

'We care so much about this show... This show fights for what we believe in... Thanks everybody who has helped me... the girl who gave me this smoky eye, I really love it,' she quipped, referring to her make-up artist.

Amy has many rooting for her including Anne Hathaway and Bette Midler who have named Schumer as their girl crush, People reported.
