Carly Fiorina super PAC releases graphic video showing aborted fetus kicking its legs, in defense of the presidential candidate's Planned Parenthood claims

  • Carly Fiorina called for defunding Planned Parenthood saying it's in 'defense of the character' of the nation
  • She condemned the group for the scandalous videos, describing one in great detail
  • Carly for America have now released an ad of clips to try and prove she was telling the truth
  • Republican House have now voted to strip Planned Parenthood of their funding for a year

Carly for America have released a graphic undercover video showing an aborted fetus kicking its legs aimed at defending presidential candidate Fiorina's Planned Parenthood claims.

In the last Republican presidential debate, Carly Fiorina had dared Hillary Clinton and President Obama to watch one of the shocking clips shot at the abortion clinic.

Describing the videos at last week's debate, she said: 'Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain.'

But many questioned the former Hewlett-Packard CEO's claims and accused her of exaggerating or making them up entirely as that could not be found in any of the videos, Fox News reported.

Now a Fiorina super PAC has put together different clips in an ad which they claim proves that she was telling the truth.

The graphic footage purports to show an aborted fetus lying on a table as while it kicks it moves one of its arms and kicks its legs.

In another clip an aborted fetus is filmed, before a former Planned Parenthood technician describes how she was told: 'We're going to procure brain.'

Planned Parenthood have hit back at the ad claiming it is false and demanded it be immediately removed from the Internet.

They said the footage actually shows 'a Pennsylvania woman's stillborn son' and not a live aborted fetus as suggested.

'This fake video doesn't show what you have claimed,' Dawn Laguens, executive director of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund wrote to Fiorina, according to The Washington Post.

'Simply put, the video you described at the debate does not exist, and the video you're now asking people to watch is not what you claim it is. This fraudulent video is beneath a serious candidate for the presidency, and you should take it down immediately.'

The ad had opened with text saying that 'Carly won the debate, so here come the false attacks.'

It then showed comments from news sites and organizations which had criticized Fiorina before it showed the horrific clips.

The video ended with a quote: 'This is about the character of our nation.'

Fiorina's made the impassioned plea to Hillary Clinton and President Obama as she backed plans to defund Planned Parenthood.

Her remarks followed comments made by Ohio Gov. John Kasich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at the presidential debate.

While Christie and Kasich were both behind, in theory, members of Congress defunding Planned Parenthood, they were less sure it would be worth a government shutdown.

'There are ways to do it without having to shut the government down,' Kasich said. 'I would not be for shutting the government down because I don't think it's going to work.'

House Republicans have since voted, on Friday, to cut off federal funding for Planned Parenthood for a year, after the controversial videos.

The group currently receives about $530 million a year from the government, by far its largest source of revenue.

The bill is intended to allow time for a variety of investigations to move forward into Planned Parenthood's alleged harvesting of fetal tissue.

In a statement Diane Black said of her bill: 'Nearly two months ago, a veil was lifted giving Americans a window into the true heart and soul of Planned Parenthood and implicating the organization in the alleged trafficking of aborted babies' tissue and organs.

'This callous disrespect for innocent life is heartbreaking and it demands a response from Congress.

'Investigations are underway now, but there are more than enough lingering questions to stop the money flow to this abortion giant while Congress conducts a full review of its activities.'

Several congressional committees are looking into whether the group violated federal law that prohibits taxpayer money for abortions, and whether the Justice Department is adequately monitoring compliance.

Planned Parenthood has denied any wrong-doing and has accused an anti-abortion group of selectively editing the videos.

The de-funding bill will be followed up by another bill that would criminalize non-compliance with a 2002 law that protects fetuses that are born despite an abortion attempt.

Both House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have ruled out the idea of using a government funding bill as leverage to de-fund Planned Parenthood.

Without congressional action, funding for the government runs out with the current fiscal year at the end of the month.

President Obama and Democrats in Congress have vowed to protect Planned Parenthood, pointing out the variety of activities the organization performs that benefit women's health.

The Senate in August previously beat back a Republican effort to de-fund Planned Parenthood, with Democrats uniting to deny Republicans enough votes for passage.
