Australia paceman Pat Cummins has been ruled out of next month's tour of Bangladesh due to a stress fracture in his back, with all-rounder James Faulkner named as his replacement. The 22-year-old Cummins experienced back pain towards the end of the recent one-day series in England, prompting a scan which led to the conclusion he will require a 'lengthy' recovery programme. Cricket Australia physiotherapist David Beakley said in a statement on Thursday: 'Pat Cummins experienced lower back pain during the last ODI match in the UK and this pain continued upon his return to Australia. He subsequently underwent an MRI scan (on Wednesday) which unfortunately has revealed a new early-stage lumbar bone stress fracture.
