Her blossoming romance with Samantha Thomas has been the talk of Hollywood.

But on Thursday at the 63rd San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain, Ellen Page made sure the limelight fell solely on her as she promoted her new movie Freeheld.

Putting on a understated yet edgy display in her all-black ensemble, the 28-year-old actress showcased her petite figure in a pair of skintight leather trousers.

Displaying her slender legs in her daring trousers, the Juno star paired her trousers with a chic over-sized blazer.

Wearing a black shirt, which featured a large collar with a check detail, the talented actress managed to pull off an effortlessly stylish outfit.

Rounding off her ensemble with a pair of heeled boots, the Inception star added some height to her petite frame.

With her raven tresses tied back in a ponytail, Ellen showcased her naturally striking features with a pale and minimal pallet of make-up - only adding a hint of colour to her look with a flash of pale pink lipstick.

Arriving at the famous European film festival, the actress - who first shot to fame in 2005's Hard Candy - appeared at a photocall for her latest project, Freeheld, alongside director Peter Solett and the film's producer Phil Hunt.

The film stars Julianne Moore as Laurel Hester, a New Jersey Police lieutenant, and focuses on her and her partner Stacie Andree (Page) as they battle to secure Hester's pension benefits when she is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Ellen used the premiere at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this month to publicly announce her relationship with girlfriend Samantha Thomas.

It was the first time she had been spotted with a woman in public since her coming out back in February 2014.

When asked why she decided to make their relationship public, the Juno star said simply: 'I'm in love.'

'Walking down the carpet holding my girlfriend's hand is pretty special,' she told E! News. 'It's pretty awesome.'
