Teaming the cropped blazer, which featured puffed details on its shoulders, with a plunging collarless white linen shirt, the Underworld star perfectly captured a laid-back yet fashionable vibe.

Slipping into a pair of skin-tight jeans, the brunette beauty highlighted her lithe and toned legs, while she further accentuated her pins by donning a pair of suede lace-up stiletto boots.

The actress - who is married to director Len Wiseman - accessorized her travel-chic vibe with a pair of oval-framed shades, a black satchel handbag and a practical grey crochet shawl.

Wearing her brunette mane pulled back into a ponytail, the silver screen beauty made sure that her naturally striking and smoothly flawless features were on full display.

Walk with Chloe on your shoulder like Kate

It's impossible for Kate Beckinsale to look bad, even her airport attire is on point. The actress arrived at London's Heathrow Airport looking business casual.

She donned a monochrome look with a black blazer over a white blouse, black denim and suede booties, but what we've got our eyes set on is that gorgeous bag.

Her shoulder bag is major eye candy, and after some investigating we found the designer of this beauty is Chloe.

The good news is you can head over to Barney's to grab the exact 'Faye' bag as Kate but the bad news is it's $1950!

Wearing a natural covering of make-up, the English rose further channelled her understated yet glamorous theme - and added the only hint of colour to her look with a light flash of pale pink lipstick.

Her mother, who greeted her at arrivals, looked equally chic as she picked Kate up in a casual yet stylish navy ensemble - adding a flash of colour to the outfit with a leopard-print scarf and yellow handbag.

Obviously at ease with the rigors of travelling alone, Kate showcased her well-known down to earth mentality by dealing with her own luggage - pulling the bag along behind her as she left the hub.

With two films in post-production, Kate looks to be taking a break before she reprises her role as vampire warrior Selene in Underworld: Next Generation.

Following on from the last installment in the franchise three years ago, the films producer and her husband Len recently revealed the film will shed yet more light on the alternative universe the films are set in.

He told IGN: 'There's kind of more of a spin-off of some of the characters like we did with Rise of the Lycans and then another film is also being developed in the works with Kate possibly as well, and then there's a television series as well.'

'It's kind of expanding that universe in many ways.'

And while the plotline of the film is not known at this point, the fifth outing of the popular horror/action franchise is set to hit cinemas in October 2016.
