Suits you, Jamie! Ms Lee Curtis is fabulous at 52 in daring white tuxedo

Jamie Lee Curtis gave a lesson in how to age gracefully during a red carpet appearance in Hollywood last night.

The 52-year-old dazzled at the Dare 2 Care pre-Oscar cocktail party in a classic white tuxedo trouser suit that showed off her slim figure and ageless beauty.

The Halloween star, who famously branded actresses who had plastic surgery in an attempt to look young ‘disfigured freaks’, looked fresh and radiant with next to no make up.

She paired the two piece with large diamond earrings and black peep toe heels to finish of the simple but elegant ensemble.

The True Lies actress attended the charity benefit held at the Boa Steakhouse in West Hollywood without her husband of 26 years, writer and actor Christopher Guest.

During the night she was honoured with The Caring Heart award for her work with the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and Leeza's place - a resource centre and gathering place for caregivers impacted by chronic or progressive illness.

At the event Grammy winning artists LeAnn Rimes and David Foster gave performances and awards were given to Jamie, CSI: New York actor Hill Harper and the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles.

LeAnn arrived at the event with her fiancé Eddie Cibrian dressed in a form fitting black dress with a plunging neckline.

Eddie looked smart in a black suit and white shirt and kept a tight hold of his future wife as the pair left the event shortly after the dinner.

Curits has long been an advocate for embracing natural beauty in recent years.

She dabbled in Botox and liposuction more than ten years ago, but has since vowed to never go under the knife.

Last year, Curits said when she looked at some actresses on screen, she gasped and thought: ‘Oh my God.’

‘They look terrible,’ she said. ‘They’ve done something to themselves and now look like freaks.

'There is only one Meryl Streep and one Sigourney Weaver. But I could name 30 other actresses in their age groups who aren’t working today.

'Me, I’m getting my ass out of this business in a few years because genetically it’s not going to work for me.’

She said: ‘It’s a conspiracy, a complete catastrophe. Somehow we are being fed this belief that to continue on, we have to do this.

‘Yet people are being disfigured. It’s shocking what people are doing to their faces.

‘I’m blessed with good health and have more energy than a 14-year-old. But I’m just now starting to feel my age and the beginning of my limitations. It’s not a big deal but it’s an adjustment.’

The star has been married for 26 years and has two adopted children.
