They say actions speak louder than words.

But in Megan Fox's case it was her choice of clothing that may have been sending the loudest message when she met up with estranged husband Brian Austin Green on Tuesday.

The pair were enjoying a family day with 19-month old son Bodhi and Noah, three, in Los Feliz, - and the actress chose to wear a T-shirt emblazoned with the words: I need more space.'

It could be possible she was sending a message to her ex partner, whom she filed for divorce from last month.

The pair, who were together for 11 years and married for five, have been putting their differences aside for their children - they have another son, Noah, three.

Megan chose to team her interesting choice of slogan T-shirt with a pair of blue patterned leggings, which featured a two tone design and blue and white stripes.

The 29-year-old star had her hair worn in loose waves around her face, and could be seen carrying her son on her hip.

She kept a pair of dark shades on with her ensemble.

Two can play at that game: It seems Brian may have been first off the bat with logos telling a tale - he wore a top saying 'Love Hurts' last week

However she is not the only person who seems to be using their clothes to make their feelings known.

Last week Brian was seen at Wholefoods in Brentwood doing a spot of shopping.

He too had a slogan on his T-shirt - it read - Love Hurts.

The former 90210 star has also been seen out with his wedding ring on, while his wife has not been wearing hers.

Often spotted looking glum, it seems Brian has taken the split a lot harder than Megan has.

However, whatever their personal feelings may be about the situation, they are putting their children first, and have been seen out and about with both of their sons together.

She has a guest star role on comedy series New Girl, which will see her playing a gorgeous pharmaceutical sales rep who shakes things up.

Brought in for the show while Zooey Deschanel is on maternity leave, she will live in the loft by renting out the room from Jess (series star Zooey's character) while she is sequestered on jury duty.

Megan will make her first appearance in the sixth episode of the upcoming fifth season, scheduled to premiere in January on the Fox network.
