Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth were spotted out on a walk together in Santa Monica on Tuesday.

The 39-year-old looked in good spirits as she and her husband of four years held hands while they sweat it out and burned a few calories.

The couple took a break from parenthood to enjoy some alone time before their son's third birthday on Sunday.

Sweating in Santa Monica: Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth were spotted exercising on a brisk walk in Santa Monica on Tuesday

In coordinating baseball caps, gym sneakers, black shorts and shades the couple looked happy as they took in the LA sunshine.

Witherspoon wore a black tank which revealed a neon green sports bra underneath.

Toth completed his outfit in a grey gym shirt with black trim and kept close to his Oscar winning wife.

The Wild star and Toth began dating in early 2010 after meeting through the Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

Toth is the head of motion picture talent at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles where Reese is a client and the two married in 2011.

They gave birth to their son, Tennessee in 2012 and the toddler is about to turn three on Sunday.

The mother-of-three has two other children, Ava and Deacon with ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe.
