Heavy metal singer Randy Blythe is suing the Czech government for more than £400,000 after he was arrested for leaving a young fan with fatal injuries when he threw him off the stage.
The 44-year-old Lamb of God frontman spent five weeks in a Czech prison in 2012 after pushing Daniel Nosek off the stage during a performance at Prague's Abaton Club two years previously.
Mr Nosek hit his head when he fell on to the concrete floor, leaving him in a coma. He died as a result of his injuries 14 days later having never recovered consciousness.

Blythe says he is now seeking damages for interference with his personal rights and compensation for the time he spent in jail in 2012.
Although the incident took place in 2010, Czech police only arrested Blythe when he returned to the country two years later after failing to get cooperation from the US Justice Department.
A court blamed security and promoters for the death and ruled that although Blythe had thrown the young man off of the stage, he was not criminally liable for Mr Nosek's death.
Blythe says that if he wins the case, he wants to donate most of the money to the victim's mother.
He says his latest album VII: Sturm und Drang was partly inspired by his experiences in the Czech Republic.

Rockers: Virginia-based Lamb of God, who received Grammy nominations in 2007 and 2011, begin a European tour in November, including dates in London. They will not perform in the Czech Republic
In a statement reported at the time of Blythe's arrest, Lamb of God's manager Larry Mazer said: 'While it is a tragedy that a Lamb of God fan died following a performance by the group, in no way do I feel that Randy did anything improper that led to the young man's injuries and subsequent death.'
'The price of a ticket to a show does not entitle audience members access to a band's stage,' he added.
Mazer said he felt Blythe had 'responded professionally' to huge numbers of fans rushing the stage.
'We have testimony from the venue operator that acknowledges lax security and an improper barricade being used that evening,' he went on to say.
