Why it's always best to read the label! Walmart shopper's confusion caught on camera when he finds 'Gun Oil H20' at the firearms counter... only to discover it's used for something COMPLETELY different

  • Man filmed rows of rifles and hunting gear before coming across oil
  • At first he believes it to be a lubricant for a firearm and reads the label
  • Hilariously he is shocked to discover the product is in fact a lubricant
  • Walmart later denied that product is on sale at the gun counter however

A man shopping at the firearms counter got quite the surprise when he came across a product designed to lubricate a gun - only to discover that it is in fact used for something very different.

The hilarious blunder was captured on camera by the stunned shopper who later posted the footage to his Facebook page with the caption: 'I couldn't quite believe this'.

In the clip, Jamie Lee Bracey, who claimed to be shopping in one of the two Florence, Alabama-based Walmart stores, captured his stunned reaction to coming across the product while browsing.

The front of the bottle appeared to show that the product was a firearm accessory but the description on the back proved otherwise

The video shows rows of rifles at the firearms counter of the retail store and hunting accessories when the man brings attention to the gun oil.

He reads the description on the back of the product and is confused to see it is water-based, noting that this could lead to a weapon rusting.

He carries on reading: 'Long-lasting lubrication with easy cleanup. Glycerin and Paraben free. Wetter, lighter feel than silicone,' and says that it sounds as if it would help his gun to work well.

He then says: 'Then I see the 'Ginseng and Guarana to promote blood flow,' and I'm like, 'What?'

Further down the bottle he discovers that the Gun Oil H20 is for 'topical use' and that the user is required to 'apply a desired amount to genital areas.'

Humorously the man says 'boom' before adding: 'They don't even know what they're selling'.

According to TheBlaze, members of staff at both of the Alabama-based stores denied that the product was on sale at their gun counters.

One of the stores added that the product is often mistakenly brought to the sporting goods section of the shop but is returned to the pharmacy area before being displayed.
