She has lightened her locks for her new role as Aurora in upcoming drama Passengers.

And Jennifer Lawrence showed off a glimpse of her platinum blonde tresses on Sunday as she went for a brisk jog with her tiny pup Pippi.

The 25-year-old actress is currently in Atlanta to shoot the sci-fi - which she stars in alongside Chris Pratt - and took advantage of a moment in-between filming to do some cardio.

Jennifer Lawernce went for a run with her dog Pippi on Sunday while staying in Atlanta to film Passengers

Jen wore a grey tank top and cropped black leggings while representing her home town by wearing a Louisville baseball cap to shade her face.

The Silver Linings Playbook star also toted her iPhone as she ran with the earphones plugged in.

The Morten Tyldum flick (The Imitation Game), is described as a romantic sci-fi about a spacecraft carrying thousands of people to a distant colony.

A malfunction in one of the cryogenic sleeping chambers causes one of the passengers, Jim Preston (Pratt), to thaw out while everyone else in the chamber has 90 years left of sleep travel.
