The hunkiest man in the world has been revealed and he looks like a cross between Aiden Turner, Colin Firth, Jamie Dornan and Leonardo DiCaprio.

A poll of 1,000 women to find the ‘perfect combination’ for a lover chose the actors in their iconic roles.

Aiden Turner as Poldark, topped the list closely followed by Colin Firth, in his role as Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.

In third place was Leonardo DiCaprio playing Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby and the final piece of the jigsaw was Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey.

Boffins put together the ‘most attractive facial characteristics’ chosen by women, using Aiden Turner’s eyebrows, nose and jaw line, Colin Firth’s eyes, Jamie Dornan’s smile, forehead, hair and ears and DiCaprio’s chin.

The ‘e-fit’ result, however, looks more like a man just about to change into a werewolf, than the hunkiest man in the world.

The bushy-eyebrowed ‘hunk’ was created by Gala Bingo on the back of the survey of 1,000 women, which asked them to create their ‘perfect fictional man’.

Caroline Hunt, 25, of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, said she ‘felt tingles down her spine’ when she saw the ‘man beast’.

Alison Digges, of GalaBingo.com, said the e-fit was the ‘definitive answer’ in the search to find the ‘perfect leading man’.

She said: 'It’s one of life’s big unanswered questions - who is the perfect leading man?

'We’ve worked our way through the list of hunkiest men on screen and come up with the definitive answer.'
