'Is Andrew Garfield trying his best to look like a paedophile?': Spider-Man actor can't contain laughter as he and Emily Blunt read out mean tweets on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Benedict Cumberbatch and Kristen Bell have found themselves on the receiving end of scathing online insults so far this week.

And it was time for Andrew Garfield and Emily Blunt to step up to Jimmy Kimmel's famed Mean Tweets challenge in the latest episode of his live show on Wednesday evening.

American-English actors Andrew and Emily, both 32, proved their good nature as they read out the randomly-selected offensive comments from Twitter trolls.

The Spider-Man star couldn't contain his amusement as he burst out laughing when reciting one social-network user's far from high opinion of him.

'Is Andrew Garfield trying to do his utter best to look like a paedophile that lives in an RV,' he said.

Adding sarcastically: 'Yes.'

Emily, however, appeared to take the hand-picked remark to heart.

'Emily Blunt's eyes make up for that horrendous sound that comes out of her mouth #Britishaccent,' she said, before saying: 'In case you didn't know what he meant.'

The Huntsman actress played along with the sketch and walked off with a solemn expression on her face.

Salma Hayek and Jack Black also demonstrated their sportsmanship by stepping up to the mark.

'I hate Salma Hayek movies. Her voice annoys me and they never show us her boobs. Meh,' Salma, 49, recited.

Meanwhile, the School of Rock star had his personal appearance attacked by a troll who said: 'Is Jack Black married 'cause that's f**king gross,' which he read out in a deadpan tone.
