The Hollywood hunk finished his look with a pair of sunglasses tucked into his t-shirt and sported some silver jewellery for his journey.
Chris plays first mate Owen Chase in In The Heart of The Sea, which tells the story of a whaling ship's crew 90 day stand off with a sperm whale.
The film is based on the Essex, a New England ship which found itself in danger in similar circumstances in the 1820s and which also inspired the events of Moby Dick.

Hemsworth plays First Mate Owen Chase who, alongside his crew, battles the whale as it terrorises them off the coast of South America.
The actor previously admitted to trying to lose as much weight as possible for the role, eager to portray the character accurately.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday earlier this year, the Thor star confessed to eating only 500 calories a day in order to shed pounds.

Describing the film, he said: 'A bunch of sailors in a whaling ship get struck by a whale, the ship sinks and they jump onto the small rafts and drift for 90 days.
'And basically they begin to die and eat each other.'
While he stuck to his calorie restricted diet, Hemsworth said he enjoyed 'cheat' days while filming.
'I had a cheat meal a couple of minutes ago so I'm in a good mood. [I had] a bit of pizza. Like 10 [slices]. But that's just once a week and then you feel really guilty.'
