But Vanessa Hudgens appears to be a trendsetter in her own right, as she was spotted looking very on-trend while shopping at Planet Blue in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. Temperatures hovered around 100F.

The 26-year-old actress showed off her sculpted figure in a backless plunging black halter bodysuit, as she picked out some new clothes.

The Spring Breakers star teamed her fitted piece with a flimsy pair of black and white striped wide-leg trousers.

She appeared to be wearing platform sandals beneath her trousers and topped off her look with a Western-inspired black wide-brim hat.

Vanessa styled her long raven-coloured locks in natural waves and accessorised with a long dangling silver necklace.

Vanessa's latest gig was starring as the lead in Broadway's play, Gigi.
