'I am taking medicine right now, they have come up with a cure,' she told Andy.

'I am almost half way through and by November first, I should be cured - a 98 per cent chance.'

Andy started the show by opening up the Pamela vault and showed off her high school yearbook picture from 1984.

'That was a funny story, yeah at the Playboy Mansion.' she laughed.

'Not one dollar. It was stolen property. We made a deal to stop all the shenanigans because I was seven months pregnant with Dylan and I felt it was affecting the pregnancy with all of the stress,' she said.

'I said I am not going to court any more, I am not being deposed any more by these horny, weird lawyer men, I don't want to talk about my vagina anymore or public sex, or anything.

'Neither of us made any money from it, it was stolen. [Penthouse founder] Bob Guccione offered us millions of dollars and we said no. It was already out at that time, the damage was done so we said no way, we are not getting involved in that.'

But she admitted Chokachi was 'flirtatious' with her and they often had to change scripts when her husband Tommy Lee was around and pretend the actor was gay.

'We pretended so he did not get in trouble (with Tommy),' she said.

'So many. People that go back on their word. I don't want to point out anybody, but people that are supporters then they are walking down the street in a fur coat, there has been a few of them.

'I don't want to try and be a dictator when it comes to my activism, I just try and do the best I can and encourage people to do the best they can,' Pamela said.

There was then a Pamela Anderson drag queen competition, judged by Pam and Meredith, with the prize going to the Baywatch entry.

Meredith earlier was then asked what she thought of the recent nursing controversy on her old show The View.

'I think the words that were used to describe the woman in the Miss America pageant were really not appropriate and I am not surprised that the nurses and nursing union became extremely angry,' said Meredith.

'I know the ladies at The View have apologized. The thing about live television is that sometimes things slip out and you don't realize the impact you are going to have. I am sure they did not realize they were going to cause that kind of controversy,' the TV veteran said.

Meredith was the original moderator on The View and was on the show from 1997 to 2006.

The chat show host also said she had not smoked marijuana in years but admitted her husband Richard Cohen used it medically to treat the symptoms of his MS.
