She's set to cause quite the stir joining her ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar on The Only Way Is Essex.

And it looks as though Kate Wright hasn't wasted any time in confronting her former flame as she's seen having an awkward encounter with Dan in Marbella.

Dan, who had a fling with Lauren Pope in the last series, seemed to be caught in a sticky situation with his blonde ex, as he looked less than impress by her presence at the bar.

The blonde beauty wore a nude twin-set complete with plait detail for her appearance in the upcoming scenes.

Showcasing a hint of her toned stomach in a crop top and flowing skirt, Kate was seen getting to know Tommy Mallet and fellow newcomer Micheal Hassini.

The three partook in a heated discussion while enjoying a glass of wine as they soaked up the atmosphere in a garden adorned by fairy lights.

While Kate remained distraction by Tommy and Michael, Dan was seen confining in close pal James Diags over his less than ideal situation.

Dan looked handsome as he stood by the bar wearing a crisp white shirt and grey skinny fit jeans while he chatted away to Diags, who looked perplexed by recent events.

Diags dressed for the evening in a blue shirt and took advantage of the Spanish climate in a pair of beige shorts.

James Lock, Jake Hall, Peter Wicks were also in attendance on the evening.

Newly-single James, whose relationship with Danielle Armstrong came to a bitter end during the last series, was put on a dapper show in a grey suit and tie.

Peter flaunted his tattooed arms in a white shirt while Jake was seen in good spirits wearing a navy T-shirt.

Ferne McCann showcased her curvaceous figure in a tight fitting dress as she slurped on a straw while Bobby Norris checked out her outfit.

Jessica Wright, who has no relation to newcomer Kate despite their surnames, wore a bright pink dress for the low-key evening as Chloe Lewis decided on a patterned play suit.

Chloe seemed to be sporting slightly darker locks, ditching her blonde hair in favour of the chocolate shade for the new series.

The friendly four posed for photographs while having a fun time shooting in their second home.

Georgia Kousoulou was also present, putting on quite the flesh-flashing display in a pink and purple geometric-printed seat which revealed a glimpse of her tummy.
