Holy smokes! Morena Baccarin reveals she's pregnant with Gotham co-star Benjamin McKenzie's baby amid her divorce drama

Their romance was only revealed to the world days ago when they were seen getting up close and personal at the Emmy's.

And now it seems the love affair between Gotham co-stars Benjamin McKenzie and Morena Baccarin is proceeding at lightning speed, with the Brazilian born actress set to reveal she is pregnant.

TMZ has obtained court documents which have been filed in her divorce case with estranged husband Austin Chick.

They state she wants full custody of the couple's one-year-old son because she will soon be unable to fly.

Morena lives in New York, while her husband is based in LA.

The actress is said to be at the end of her first trimester, and is asking for a proactive order as she soon won't be able to travel by air.

Morena and Ben met on the set of Gotham when the former Homelands beauty joined the cast towards the end of last year. 

People revealed the pair were dating on Monday, and they were seen at a number of events together over the Emmy's weekend.

The pair were spotted holding hands at the Fox party at Vibiana after the award ceremony on Sunday.

Benjamin, 37, plays Police Commissioner James Gordon on the show.

Meanwhile Morena, 36, who was nominated for an Emmy for her role as Jessica Brody in Homeland, was introduced at the end of the first season as Dr. Leslie Thompkins.

The Brazillian born actress was married to Austin Chick, an American producer and director. 

The couple wed in 2011 and had one son, Julius, in October 2013. 

However they split in 2015 after Chick filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

The pair had actually worked previously together - they revealed to E! both starred on The O.C when Morena had a short stint on the show.

However Benjamin could not remember her role.

The actor is notoriously private about his love life, and likes to play his cards close to his chest when it comes to women.

He told Elle: 'I'm really shy about that stuff. I really don't like relationships to be played out in public. It creates terrible strain. It creates bizarre dynamics. There's that saying, "Less said about the bedroom, the better."' 

He likes to be a gentleman when it comes to dating - he revealed one of the best things about getting a regular acting gig was being able to take a woman out: 'Honestly, it was great to be able to take a girl out to a nice meal.

'I like the idea of old-fashioned dating, which at this point is almost heretical. People are genuinely surprised when you ask them out.'

Gotham, which is a prequel to Batman chronicles the life of Police Commissioner James Gordon, will debut it's second season on Monday, September 21st.
