The 45-year-old actress looked absolutely elegant while arriving at the World Childhood Foundation 16th Anniversary event in New York City on Thursday night.

She stunned on the red carpet as always in an off-the-shoulder black gown at the charity event.
The long, dark frock featured a jagged cut neckline at the chest and a long flowy skirt that had to be lifted up as she made her grand entrance to the event.
The Pulp Fiction actress accessorised the look with silver jewellery including chain necklaces and dangling chandelier earrings.

Uma had her medium-length blonde locks pulled back in a ponytail as she let some of the fringe hang down.
The talented actress and mother-of-three completed the look with natural, complimentary make-up including a swipe of pink lip.
The event was for a good cause as the organisation works to prevent child abuse and exploitation of children around the world.
The World Childhood Foundation supports over 100 projects with the aim of assisting children who are at risk or are victims of abuse.

The 71-year-old royal wore a cardinal-coloured shawl over a matching shiny dress featuring a lined detailing.
She was not the only world royalty at the gathering as Queen Silvia was joined by Queen Rania of Jordan who looked good in a black and white ensemble.
