They've been near-inseparable since sparking romance in July this year, and it seems that Mariah Carey and her beau James Packer's blossoming relationship is stronger than ever.

The 45-year-old songstress and her 48-year-old billionaire boyfriend were spotted in New York on Thursday evening after a romantic date spent at swanky Japanese restaurant, Nobu.

Mariah appeared relaxed as she smiled for the cameras, donning a printed black and white jumpsuit with flared pants paired with a silk scarf that draped across her shoulders.

She accessorised her look with a pair of open-toe platform heels, a black patent bag, a pair of trendy shades and, on her ring finger, a diamond butterfly ring.

James looked equally as sharp, wearing a slick black suit and tie combo as he ushered his ladylove into their chauffeured car.

The enamored duo made their first red carpet appearance as a couple earlier this week at the premier of the new Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro comedy, The Intern.

At the event, Mariah spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the pair's budding romance.

'Date night tonight! Are you supporting your man?' asked the ET reporter.

'Exactly! It's fun,' replied Carey, beaming from ear to ear as her man texted on the phone as he stood behind her on the red carpet.

She also added that she and her new man are fans of Anne Hathaway, saying: 'We love her. [She's] the best.'

The casino magnate also gushed to News Corp about his new girlfriend recently, saying: 'Mariah is just incredible, amazing she really is...She's a genius'.

Mariah split from her estranged husband Nick Cannon in 2014 after six years of marriage, while twice-married James announced his split from his former wife Erica Packer in 2013.
