Johnny Depp paints bite marks onto his neck as he performs onstage with his supergroup The Hollywood Vampires in Rio
He is the front man for super-band The Hollywood Vampires.
But it was Johnny Depp who seemed to have been bitten by a creature of the night when he hit Rock and Rio on Thursday.
The actor was sporting a bite mark on his neck for his performance - which had not been there hours earlier when he performed a charitable deed giving out hearing aids.

It appeared the 52-year-old had painted it on for effect for the band's performance, which is made up of Alice Cooper, Aerosmith's Joe Perry, Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan, and Bruce Witkin.
The band took to the stage for the concert - where they were headlining the event and wowed the crowd with their set.
But despite the crowd being packed with a host of Johnny Depp fans, it appeared his wife Amber Heard was his biggest groupie.

The 29-year-old actress was on hand to support her man at the gig
Holding his arm as they bustled through a sea of supporters outside of the concert, Amber looked quite the rock chick in a black spaghetti-strap mini dress, which she teamed with a myriad of intricate necklaces as well as a number of dropped-earrings.
The Magic Mike XXL star wore her long blonde locks in messy natural waves, while her make-up palette remained typically neutral.
Her husband looked equally eccentric in a striped beige waistcoat and black shirt.
Supporter: The 29-year-old actress was on hand to support her man at the gig, which saw him play alongside the likes of Alice Cooper, Aerosmith's Alice Cooper, Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan, and Bruce Witkin

Draped around his neck was an assortment of ribbons and chains, whilst a handkerchief scarf was also attached to his black trousers.
In true superstar style, the Black Mass actor concealed his face beneath a pair of black shades, while his forehead was wrapped in yet another scarf before being layered with a navy flat cap.
Waving to his fans, the A-list star made sure to keep a firm grip on his woman as they maneuvered through the masses and into an awaiting vehicle.
Amber certainly looked a lot more upbeat than she did earlier in the day when she and her man visited the charity initiative for the Starkey Hearing Foundation in Rio de Janeiro.

Dressed the part: The actor looked typically eccentric on stage in a black waist coat and over-sized white shirt, while his neck was draped with an array of scarves
The organization will provide more than 200 children and adults with hearing aids as part of a partnership with the Rock in Rio festival, where The Hollywood Vampires are the headline.
However the meet became a little too much for Heard, who began to cry while meeting some of the people receiving the devices.
The actress shed a tear with Daniele Lopes, 32, after the woman became emotional when receiving her hearing device.
The Starkey Hearing Foundation then brought some of the fans to the show Thursday night so they can hear music for the first time.

Johnny looked to be having the time of his life as he rocked out on stage alongside his band mates at the week-long concert.
The band - who pay tribute to the great legends of rock - have also previously enlisted artists like Paul McCartney, Perry Farrell, Dave Grohl, and Kesha for their Sunset Strip gigs.
The ageing musicians' self-titled album - which dropped September 11 - benefits MusiCares and tributes their 'dead, drunk friends.'
