Hilary Duff hit the ground running in velvet trousers on Thursday after returning to Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old actress kept it casual as she immediately ran errands after touching down.

Hilary wore a floppy wide brimmed black hat, V-neck T-shirt and grey velour skinny trousers while out and about in Beverly Hills.

Back home: Hilary Duff returned to Los Angeles on Thursday after filming her TV show in New York City

The former Lizzie McGuire star also donned a pair of sensible grey flats.

Hilary on Wednesday wore a little black dress while filming her sitcom Younger in New York City.

The 12-episode second season of the Darren Star show will return in January on TV Land.
