'Happy Friday!': Katie Holmes shows off toned dancers legs as she jumps for joy after long week working on directorial debut All We Had
Katie Holmes has much to celebrate these days as she makes her big directorial debut in the upcoming emotional film All We Had.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram and posted a pic of her leaping through the air alongside the caption, 'Happy Friday!'
The brunette beauty looked exhilarated as she soared down 7th Avenue in New York's West Village.

Dressed in a bright blue hoodie and tight black gym pants, the former Dawson's Creek actress plunged over a spray painted sign on the street that read, 'To The Moon.'
That's exactly how Katie must be feeling right now as she has been in Brooklyn directing and starring in the dramatic mother-daughter film.
The former Mrs. Tom Cruise posted a photo of herself later on Friday overlooking the Hudson River towards the Statue of Liberty.

Katie's co-star, 17-year-old Stefania Owen, plays the daughter of Holmes' character, Rita Carmichael.
The film which is based on the Annie Weatherwax novel centers around the story of a mother who struggles to makes a better life for herself and her daughter.
The mom and her teenage daughter move to the small town of Grand River, Ohio where they strive to make a new beginning for themselves.

Katie has paired up with script writers, Jane Rosenthal and Josh Boone, director of The Fault in Our Stars on the film and Holmes talked about her experience working with the pair in an interview with Variety last year.
'I am very excited and honored to be collaborating with Jane and Josh on this project and look so forward to bringing Annie’s incredible characters to the screen,' she said.
Rosenthal added, 'Katie has such a clear vision for the book’s irreverent, original mother-daughter relationship.'
'Her passion for the material, along with Josh Boone’s ability to tell stories grounded in the comedy and drama of everyday, will truly bring these characters to life,' she continued.
