Lea Michele, 29, took a break from her Scream Queens promo duties to attend a signing of her new book on Friday.

The tome, titled You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life, is the second self-help and empowerment book the multi-talented Michele has released.

Brunette Ambition, Michele's first book, was mixture of the memoir, self-help and how-to genres.

Debuting at number 9 on the US Nonfiction Best Seller list, the book would go on to rise to number 3 on the New York Times Bestseller list.

Her latest work, You First, is also in the self-help genre, and apparently discusses a lot of the same themes of her first book, but with a more practical slant that aims to help readers fulfill their dreams and ambitions. 

Once Glee ended there had been some questions as to what direction Michele would take, as she had been trying to launch a singing career, along with her acting and writing ventures. 

That question was soon answered however, as she landed a lead for Fox's hit show Scream Queens, where she has been cast as a lead opposite veteran Jamie Lee Curtis, among others.
