Rihanna would be proud! Joseph Gordon-Levitt teams with Jimmy Fallon as they perform barbershop version of B**** Better Have My Money on Tonight Show

There is definitely no trace on an 'old-timey' vibe to the original track.

But that didn't stop Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jimmy Fallon from performing a barbershop rendition of Rihanna’s B***h Better Have My Money.

The 34-year-old Hollywood actor became the latest star to don a bright blazer and straw hat to sing a medley of the pop star’s hit with talk show host Fallon on The Tonight Show.

The Ragtime Gals include 40-year-old Fallon, head writer A.D Miles and comedians Tom Shillue and Chris Tartaro.

They have previously been joined by the likes of Sting, Steve Carell and Justin Timberlake.

Levitt kept his bowtie on as he could not contain his excitement at being a part of the group.

’That was so much fun man, I’ve loved seeing that in the past and when you sent me the email asking if I wanted to do the Ragtime Gals I was like ‘Oh my God, I get to do the Ragtime Gals,’ he said clapping wildly. I was psyched.’

Joseph said he was happy to finally get to sing after doing a Nicki Minaj lip-synch cover the last time he appeared.

‘Last time i lip-synched, I didn’t get to sing. More people come up to me and tell me they like me the lip-synch, more than Inception, or The Dark Knight Rises, or ‘500 Days of Summer.’

‘It is really funny. More people come up to me and say ‘Yeah, Super Bass man.’

Gordon-Levitt was on to promote his latest movie The Walk, in which he plays Frenchman Philippe Petit who set out to walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center with no safety rope.

Chris Hardwick was also a guest on the programme as the Nerdist podcast host chatted about his recent engagement to actress Lydia Hearst.

The 43-year-old funnyman talked about how his original plan to propose to 31-year-old Lydia at Disneyland was foiled only to pop the question after winning a Creative Arts Emmy two weeks ago.
