She looked absolutely gorgeous as she cosied up to her husband, her porcelain complexion glowing in addition to rosy-pink lips.

Before their big day - Ronnie's third trip down the aisle - Sally spoke out to defend the couple against criticism concerning their 31-year age difference.

She told the Evening Standard: 'There is an age gap. I would prefer it if there wasn’t but there is.

'But maybe I’m a bit older and he’s a bit younger at heart.'

When it was suggested she could possibly spend much of her married life acting as a carer for her husband, she retorted: 'Actually, I think that’s good in a way. That’s what people should be doing, looking after each other.

'On the other hand, I could be struck by lightning or knocked down by a bus. I can’t not allow good times now because in 20 years’ time it will be different.'

Ronnie was previously married to Jo Wood for 26 years before his fling with Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova ended their union in 2008.

He was also married to Krissy Findlay between 1971 and 1978.
