Proud mommy Sara Gilbert goes gaga for her baby during a family outing with wife Linda Perry in Beverly Hills

While many might remember her as the snarky teen Darlene Conner in the 1990s sitcom Roseanne, Sara Gilbert showed her softer side on Thursday.

The 40-year-old actress and talk show host was spotted with wife Linda Perry and their nearly seven-month-old son, Rhodes in Beverly Hills.

While out and about in the exclusive neighborhood, Gilbert paused for an affectionate, loving kiss upon her baby as wife Perry held their son close.

The proud parents coordinated their edgy looks both clothed in black skinny jeans which kept with their rocker style. 

Gilbert's 50-year-old wife, Perry is most famously known as the former 4 Non Blondes lead singer, whose popular song What's Up hit the charts in 1993.

Sara gave birth to their son this past February which is the third child for her but only the first for Linda.

Host of the daytime talk show The Talk began a relationship with television producer Allison Adler in 2001 and they had two children together.

Adler delivered their first son, Levi Hank, in 2004 and Sara gave birth to their daughter, Sawyer in 2007.

The couple split in 2011 and Gilbert became engaged to Perry in 2013.

The pair married in 2014 and are now celebrating their new lives as the parents to a newborn baby boy. 

As a teenager, Gilbert dated her on-screen boyfriend, Roseanne co-star Johnny Galecki and later starred in The Big Bang Theory together years later.

However during their relationship as teenagers it was then that Sara realized she was a lesbian and the actress eventually came out publicly in July 2010.
