The pair fell apart on the last season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills due to Kim Richards' struggles with addiction.

However, it seems Kyle and her sister have begun to seriously fix their damaged relationship, as evidenced by a sweet throwback snap shared by the Bravo star on Thursday.

The 46-year-old posted a black and white shot of her and her 51-year-old sister when they were child stars, working with James Brolin on 1977 horror movie The Car.

Throwback: Kyle Richards appears to be continuing to mend her strained relationship with sister Kim, as she shared this old photo of the pair as children - on set with James Brolin - on Thursday

'#throwbackthursday me stuck in the middle of #jamesbrolin & @kimrichards11 filming the movie The Car,' she wrote, of the photo, in which the pair can be seen cuddling each other on the back of the motorcycle.

Both donned fancifully decorated helmets as they could be seen sitting behind James on the bike, looking off-camera.

Kim showed off long, blonde tresses that hung in loose waves past her shoulders, as she held onto younger sister Kyle, sandwiched in between the two stars.

'I did not appreciate how cute my movie 'Dad' was,' Kyle joked, of starring alongside James in the thriller.

The previous Thursday Kyle had celebrated her older sister as well, as she was spotted taking the troubled star out to dinner in Beverly Hills for her 51st birthday.

She shared a photo of the two on her Instagram account, cuddled up and smiling at the dinner table, which she captioned with a heart emoji and exclamation marks.

Kim shared a similar picture, as she posted her gratitude for getting to share her special day with family.

The two showed off wide smiles as they were spotted leaving Ocean Prime restaurant together, arm in arm.

And earlier that same day Kyle had taken to Instagram to share well wishes for her big sister on her birthday.

'Happy birthday @kimrichards11 May all your birthday wishes come true Love you,' Kyle gushed, alongside another flashback snap of the pair.

Recently mother-of-four Kyle has been filming the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, while Kim has been axed from the Bravo reality series.

It follows a troubling time for the former child star, in a year that has been punctuated by - among other things - a drunken arrest in The Beverly Hills hotel, plus a stint in rehab.

It was also recently reported - by TMZ - that the former TV star was trying to get hold of the anti-anxiety drug Xanax.

Kim allegedly visited one smoke shop in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles three times during the past week in an effort to get some pills, the website claimed.

The former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star also agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors following her April 16 arrest at The Beverly Hills Hotel last week.

The deal offered by the LA County District Attorney stipulated the star serve three years probation, take 52 AA classes, complete 30 days of community labor, and stay 100 yards away from The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Her attorney had asked for Kim to get community service instead of labor at an August 31 hearing at which Richards was not present.

Kim had claimed that a foot injury made it impossible for her to do the more manual labor such as graffiti removal or freeway trash pickup.

The star has been seeking treatment for substance abuse issues since her arrest that followed a drunken altercation with hotel staff and police officers.

The reality TV star was taken to jail and cited with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer.

Kim first checked herself into rehab following an intervention by Dr. Phil in late April, during which she admitted to drinking and taking prescription painkillers.

However, she later checked herself out of the facility in order to attend her daughter Brooke Brinson's destination wedding in Mexico.

Then, after falling off of the wagon at the wedding, Kim went back into a different rehab facility to continue working on her sobriety.

On August 2, Kim was arrested for allegedly shoplifting close to $600 from a Target store in Los Angeles. She spent the night in jail before posting a $5,000 bail, according to People magazine.
