Creative Commons helps you share your knowledge and creativity with the world.

We're helping to realize the full potential of the Internet—universal access to research and education, full participation in culture—to drive a new era of development growth, and productivity.

Creative Commons Global Summit 2015

CC's Global Summit brings together our global community of technologists, legal experts, academics, and activists who support free culture and open knowledge shared worldwide.

Taking place every two years around the world, the summit provides CC and the broader open web community an opportunity to gather, share ideas, and advance our efforts.

We are proud to host CC's 2015 Global Summit in Seoul — hope you'll join us!

"The colorful circle symbolizes amalgamation of Knowledge by subject experts coming from diversified domains. Circles represent protective, unity, wholeness, and infinity. Without beginning or end, without sides or corners, the circle is also associated with the number one." — by nareshagrawalart_155

How can I license my work?

There is no registration to use the Creative Commons licenses.

Licensing a work is as simple as selecting which of the six licenses best meets your goals, and then marking your work in some way so that others know that you have chosen to release the work under the terms of that license.

Our license-choosing tool can help you select the right license.
