They've split for the fourth time since tying the knot in June, but if Gabi Grecko isn't planning on shocking everyone on the red carpet of the Brownlow Medal next week, it must be serious.

The Real Housewife Of Melbourne's Gamble Breaux is concerned that her new friend may not make an appearance at football's night of nights on Monday, following the model's split with Geoffrey Edelsten.

Taking to social media with a close-up photo of the gal pals, Gamble expressed her worries.

She wrote: 'My new buddy has gone AWOL from The Brownlows leaving her amazing dress and the rest of us scratching our heads. 

'I imagine it must be hard having a hubby with so much baggage, however I do hope we see her lighting up traditional events freaking out the chickens of Melbourne society.' 

The baggage Gamble refers to is surrounding the former Sydney Swans owner's autobiography, Enigma, which details the moment he lost his virginity and a sordid threesome. 

Last week viewers of Celebrity Apprentice, in which the couple star, saw the girls' team sell 20 copies of Geoffrey's out of print book which they bought on eBay.

'I hate this book,' Gabi screamed in tears, throwing her wedding band on the ground.

She declared their marriage was over, insisting she still cannot come to terms with her husband's previous life.

Geoffrey told Daily Mail Australia that Gabi: 'has no need to be upset,' adding: 'I've burned every copy, Gabi, please come home.'

On Thursday Gabi announced her split from the successful businessman.

'Going back to live in New York Permanently #byebyegeoffy,' Gabi posted on social media, and later uploaded a photo of her living room simply captioned: 'Home'.

She reassured her Instagram followers that she would be 'much happier' returning to the busy city.
