She is known for her zest for life and Bindi Irwin is quickly winning all of her fellow Dancing With The Stars contestants over with her infectious personality.

Nick Carter revealed to Daily Mail Australia on Saturday that he is a big fan of the daughter of the late crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin.

'She is a sweetheart - she is a big loveable bunch of joy,' the former Backstreet Boy said of the effervescent personality.

Nick appears to have developed a fondness for the Australian star, as he went on to gush about the 17-year-old wildlife warrior.

'She is very talented for never having really danced - it's really awesome someone so youthful is so vibrant,' he confessed.

Meanwhile, Nick has been partnered with another Australian beauty on the current series, Sharna Burgess from the country town of Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.

Infestcious: Nick appears to have developed a fondness for his co-star Bindi

'She is an amazing partner – we work really well together, she pushes me enough, it is very give and take,' he said of the talented performer.

'We listen to one another, it's great,' he added.

Sharna also spoke very highly of Bindi to Daily Mail Australia saying that she 'adores' her.

'I absolutely adore Bindi Irwin – when I first met her I thought wow what an incredible human being!' she revealed before detailing exactly what makes her so special.

'She is on a different level to everybody else – she has this positivity that just pours out of her

'You feel like you want to be around her all the time.

'She makes me so proud to be an Aussie!' she admitted.

Both Nick and Sharna and Bindi and her American dance partner Derek Hough are tipped to be contenders for the show's grand final.

When asked by Daily Mail Australia if he thought Bindi would be a fierce competitor, Nick took the opportunity to complement the star once more.

'I know she is competitive – but she is just happy to be part of this and she loves everybody and she cheers everybody on and is so excited when you do well,' he said.

'If you slip up she is the first person to say don't worry you will get better,' he added, before predicting that he thinks she will make it all the way to the final.

Meanwhile, Nick just released his new solo music video for his romantic single I Will Wait.

The video shows Nick singing the romantic love ballad and playing the guitar as he details the love story of an older couple.

Nick will also star in a new sci-fi film Dead 7 which comes out next year alongside Zooey Deschanel and John Secada.

The movie will also feature Nick's fellow Backstreet Boy members A.J McLean, Howie Dorough, as well as NSync's Joey Fattone.
