But that doesn't stop Liv Tyler embarking on everyday duties including stealing a cheeky kiss from her rumoured fiance Dave Gardner on Thursday before running errands with her adorable kids in New York the following day.

The 38-year-old actress packed on the PDA with her partner of a year and was spotted out and about with her sons, Milo, 10 and eight-month-old Sailor on Friday morning.

On Thursday, Liv seemed to have hit the gym as she donned sporty leggings and running shoes which she topped off with an oversized hoodie.

The Armageddon star put on a passionate display with Dave, who jetted into NYC with his best pal David Beckham on Wednesday.

Sports and entertainment agent Dave wore a wholly smarter look than his girlfriend as he cut a dapper figure in a sharp grey suit.

Liv Tyler opted for a relaxed look when she stepped out in NYC with her sons, Milo and Sailor. The rock-and-roll heiress donned a plaid button down shirt by Isabel Marant and a pair of ripped jeans as well as some Chloe flats.

The stunning actress cut a casual figure again on Friday as she pounded the New York pavements with Milo - whose father is her ex-husnad, rocker Royston Langdon - and Sailor - her and Dave's bundle of joy.

Liv showed off her endless legs in a pair of skin-tight black jeans which boasted rips on the knees while she gave the look a grunge edge with a burgundy plaid shirt.

The statuesque star wore a pair of flat pumps while she was laden with a satchel and handbag while holding Sailor in a front-facing harness.

The star's New York jaunt comes after she gave an interview to More magazine, discussing her unconventional upbringing and how it taught her about love.

She said: 'During my upbringing, I saw glimpses of so many different ways of living. My aunt and my uncle are still together and still have the house that I lived in with them.

'So I had that example. And then I had my mom and my dad, and that was definitely more eccentric. I saw so many forms of love and family.'

Liv added: 'The main thing I picked up from all of it is that where you live and what your job is - those things are temporary. It’s your family, no matter where you are, that always exists. Whether someone is alive or dead or near or far, your people are your people.'

'I didn’t see how I could go away for three months to make a film and be the mother I wanted to be,' Liv said of her changing priorities.
