Yesterday the corporate headhunter treated herself to a manicure and then enjoyed a meal of burger and fries in  Nyack.

Rounds, who was casual in a white and gray t-shirt, was seen enjoying the autumn sunshine and peering into shop windows along Main Street in the town after arriving in her Chevy Tahoe.

She spent much of the time making and taking telephone calls and one stage left her friend alone for 15 minutes as she spoke into her mobile.

When Daily Mail Online wished her a speedy recovery as she got up to leave she said: 'Thank you. But I will never, ever give an interview.'
